The Process – Moving to Spain Made Simple

So, you’ve decided to relocate to Spain—exciting times! Here’s how we make the moving process smooth, organised, and stress-free:

1. Get a Quote

Start by completing our comprehensive online quote form. It provides us with everything we need to assess your move and offer an accurate, competitive quote.

2. Accept & Book

Once you’re happy with the quote, simply accept it and we’ll send over your booking form. From there, our team gets straight to work on your personalised removal plan.

3. Collection & Transit

We’ll confirm your collection date and time in advance. On the day, our experienced team will safely and efficiently load your belongings onto the van or truck.

Depending on the volume of your move and the vehicle used, transit to Spain usually takes 3–4 days, though it can occasionally take a little longer. Either way, we’ll keep you fully updated with progress—every step of the way.

4. Packing Services Available

Prefer not to pack yourself? No problem! Our trained team can supply all materials and professionally pack your boxes and furniture. For larger moves, packing is done the day before loading.

5. Flexible Storage Solutions

Need a gap between collection and delivery? We’ve got you covered with secure storage facilities in both the UK and Spain. It’s perfect if you're not ready to receive your items right away.

6. Customs Clearance

We handle all customs formalities for you, working with our expert agents in both the UK and Spain. In many cases, you may also be eligible for duty-free import—and we’ll help guide you through that process.

Thank you very much. BMC European just collected nearly 40 cubic meters from two storage companies in north Wales for me, delivering to both near Jaen and Alhaurin, both in Spain. Absolutely perfect Move       

Thank you! We have just moved from Surbiton in the UK to Guadalmina, Marbella in the south of Spain. The whole move was so easy to arrange. I completed a form on the website, and received a quote a day or so later which was more competitive than the other 3 we received, and after a quick call with Bradfield at the office, we accepted the quote. It could not have been any easier. 4 weeks later, we moved our entire life from our 4-bed house to a 3-bed apartment and nothing was too much trouble, even when we had to move a few items to storage as we ran out of space.
