What Will It Cost???

Western and Central France are classed as EU Zone 1, Spain Zone 2, Portugal 3 with the exception of the Algarve which is EU Zone 4.  Eastern and South East France are classed as Zone 4.

Now the fun bit!  We will presume you are moving from say an average 3 bed house using a 30 cubic metre vehicle.  This probably accounts for around 70% of our normal removals. 

To our standard pricing of £1800 from UK Zone 1 to EU Zone 1 add:

UK2 £200

UK3 £300

UK4 £350

UK5 £400

UK6 £450 (Northern Scotland £550)

UK7 £500 (Plus ferry costs of around £450)

UK8 £100 (For Zones in Wales, please click on the Zones of Wales PDF file at the bottom of this page)

To other EU Zones add:

EU2 £200 (Islands add £200 plus ferry costs - Balearics Ferry £600 - £1100)

EU3 £250

EU4 £300

So...  A move originating in UK4 going to EU2 (Spain) would price at £2350.  Another example:  UK2 going to EU4 (Algarve) would price at £2300.

Now add the following to take into account time of year.  The prices above are based on the

Low season of November, December, January and February.

Mid season - March, April, May and October.  Add 10%

High season - June, July, August and September.  Add 15%

Public holidays and school half term during Mid and High season, add a further 5%

A few more variables/costs for you:  Northern Italy, EU4 plus £350 or £500 for Central and £600 Southern areas.  Scicily £1000.  Malta EU4 plus £1500.  Morocco.  EU4 plus £1000.  Bulgaria.  EU4 plus £1400.  Need more than 30 cubic metres?  for up to 48 cubic metres add £1400 to the base price. 

All of the above pricing is presuming that you have given us at least 6 weeks notice of your move.  This allows us to utilise the vehicle space on the journey back.  Short notice moves may increase the cost.  Please, always ask for your own tailored quote! It may be cheaper (or dearer!) than you think! 

Additional Average* Charges (if applicable) 3rd Porter required £120 UK €150 EU.  Difficult access (can't park close to building) £Please ask.  Moving from apartment with lift £100* without lift £200*  Moving into an apartment with lift £100 or without lift £200 all depending on parking location.  

Don't need the full 30 cubic metres of space?  If your move is less than 16 cubic metres, and you have given us 6 weeks notice, then discounts of up to 40% of the above prices could be available.  This discount ONLY applies to moves to standard EU Zones 1 to 4. 

Moving back to the UK from Spain?  Give us at least 4 weeks notice and you can pay the same in Euro's for your move as we have quoted in GBP.  So a £2000 move will cost you €2000 (£1760)  ALWAYS ask for a quote though.  We understand times are tough and if we can offer further discounts we will.  We like to keep the wheels turning!  Beware all the ad's in English newpapers offering a low price per cubic metre!  Please, even if you don't use our service, do your homework.  Check their insurance details - with the insurance company! Don't just take their word for it.  Ask what year their vehicles are registered.  Are they registered with the tax authorities?  If things go wrong (and trust me, we've heard some horror stories over the years) then are you really going to get compensation from some ex-pat, with a 8 year old van, renting a house in Spain???  Think about it!
